Six Senses
A private-island hideaway on Félicité, where ancient granite boulders tumble into turquoise water and pool villas hide along the jungle hillside. Infinity pools spilling toward the horizon, spa pavilions wedged between the rocks, and La Digue and Praslin drifting on the sea beyond.
The experience
Our collaboration with Six Senses Zil Pasyon was everything we imagined a Seychelles project could be. The island does half the work: giant granite boulders sculpted over millions of years, jungle rolling down to quiet white-sand coves, and villas that seem to grow straight out of the rock. We spent our days chasing light between the spa pavilions built among the boulders and infinity pools that pour into the horizon, and our evenings watching the sun sink behind La Digue from the top of the island. The team welcomed us like family, and their quiet, thoughtful care for the island runs through everything they do. Leaving was the hardest part.
